Hollywild Animal Park is a 501 (c) (3) Not-for-profit Organization.

With admission, visitors to the park enjoy walking park visits with a variety of animals, a safari bus ride where they can feed large wild animals, and a “creature feature” presentation in the amphitheater.

Visitors can also enjoy the picnic shelters on-site or purchase concessions at the park.

The Zoovenir shop offers a variety of items that fit any budget so that visitors can take home a special reminder of their fun at the park. Bags of animal food and baby bottles are also available for purchase.


JANUARY-FEBRUARY
The Park is closed to the public this time while our animals are taking their winter naps and we are transitioning from our Holiday Lights Season in preparation for our new Park Season.


MARCH: SNEAK PREVIEW MONTH:
Hours: weekdays- groups by appt only;
weekends 10 AM – 5 PM

Admission: $10 adults, $8 for students, children and Military with ID, infants under 2 admitted free

Sneak Preview Month:  open weekends (weather permitting) with discounted admission.  Admission is discounted for this month as not all of our animals are ready to come out of their winter quarters until the climate warms.

MARCH Acoustic Nights Concert Series:  These after-hours concerts will be held rain or shine in our park amphitheater.  Park grounds will be open for an hour before the concerts begin at 6 PM.  $10 per person, under 2 admitted free. Concessions available. ** Additional admission will be required for those coming earlier in the day. See our FB page and website for additional details as they come available.

    • Sunday, March 20: World Frog Day – Creature Feature Shows today will emphasize our amphibian friends.


    APRIL :
    Hours: weekdays- 9AM – 2 PM; weekends 10 AM – 5 PM

    Admission: $12 adults, $10 for students and military with ID, $ 8 for children ages 2-14, infants under 2 admitted free.
    **Sat. April 2 – Wildlife 101 Class: 1 PM – 3 PM, led by Mercedes Curry

    • I’ve Found A Wild Animal... Now What? – This class is designed to help you understand the impact of interacting with wild animals and what to do or not do if you find one in the wild that you think might need your help. This class is free to those who have paid admission to the park.  $10 for those wishing to come just for the class. 

    Thursday, April 14th 4:30 PM – 8 PM:  Autism Afternoon In Celebration of our Children - The Park is not open to the general public during this time as we open up after-hours to support families managing the challenges of autism. Admission includes the walking park, Creature Feature Program, and a Safari Bus Ride.  Special admission and sponsorships available.  Please call the park office for details. 

      Sunday, April 3: Hollywild Celebrates Jane Goodall’s birthday with emphasis on her conservation efforts during our Creature Feature Programs.

      Friday, April 8 – Zoo Lover’s Day:  All who come today receive group rate admission if they wear their Heart of Hollywild shirts!


      MAY:

      Memorial Day 9 AM – 5 PM

      Admission: $12 Adults, $10 students and Military with ID, $8 for children ages 2-14, infants under 2 admitted free

      Sunday, May 1: Save the Rhino Day!  Special information about rhinos shared during our Creature Feature Programs.  Stay tuned for special opportunities for encounters with our famous Rhino “Tank” on this day.

      Sunday, May 8:  Hollywild Celebrates Mother’s Day – Moms get in free with a paid child’s admission.

      Saturday, May 21:  Conservation Awareness Day @ Hollywild:  Our Creature Feature programs at 11 AM and 1 PM will be presented by world conservationist, author, and Denver Zoo pachyderm keeper, Mr. Dave Johnson (also on video)

      *We are in the process of planning an evening Conservation event related to Mr. Johnson’s visit.  Please stay tuned.

      JUNE- CAMP MONTH

      Tuesday, June 7:  Toddler Zoo Explore special summer program for parent/child: 10-11:30 AM or 2-3:30 PM

      Thursday, June 9: Animals Around the World, Jr. Zookeeper Camp for ages 5-8 (grades 1-3) 9 AM – 5 PM

      Tuesday, June 14 – Hollywild visits Landrum Library presenting “Our Neck of the Woods” a program about native wildlife. 11 AM

      Tuesday, June 14 - Keeper for a Day, Jr. Zookeeper Camp for ages 10-14 (grades 5-8) 9 AM – 5 PM

      Thursday, June 16 – Animal Diets, Jr. Zookeeper Camp for ages 9-12 (grades 4-6) 9 AM – 5 PM

      Sunday, June 19:  Hollywild Celebrates Father’s Day – Dads get in free with a paid child’s admission
